INTRODUCTION

ITINERARY

Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

The trek commences at Marangu Gate, As you traverse the verdant rainforest, the trail introduces you to the vibrant flora and fauna of Kilimanjaro. Keep an eye out for colobus monkeys and exotic plant species. After 4-6 hours of trekking, you reach Mandara Hut at 2,700 meters (8,858 feet).
